PACMAN VS HITMAN ON MAY 2, 2009!

    To all boxing enthusiasts out there, mark your calendars! The much anticipated and the most awaited match-up flanked by boxing sensations Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao and Ricky “Hitman” Hatton has been set for May 2 in Sin City. Although this has been a tentative date and not yet a final one, we should wait till it becomes a reality. With 5 months away, expect another rich reward for both fighters as this billing has been highly touted and expected to rack in the cash.

      The uncertainty of this much awaited match matters on the percentage of cash winnings between these two fighters. Although we can not ignore the fact that both parties wanted more percentage because they stand that they have more market than the other. Maybe they should pursue the fight to give boxing fanatics a spectacular match with no problem on the ratio on their winning cash prize. Another thing that I knew is the problem on the venue. Hatton’s side is asking to bring the fight to UK for a 90-thousand spectator’s capacity stadium. Of course the first option of the promoter is at the MGM Arena in Las Vegas with 17,157 sitting capacity. Hopefully this will be all finalized to let it happen on May 2.

      This match is going to be a totally, mind boggling, pure of adrenaline and rush pumping, fire blazing knock-out fighting excitement! They are going to give us another one! After wining of Pacquiao against Dela Hoya, how lucky are we now waiting for this another magnificent fight of the year. This fight will be put into the boxing history as one of the most exciting fights ever! Two of the worlds knock out artists; brawler and power punchers at their prime will clash! To attest who the knockout artist among them is, of course they have to make it happen. I’ll still go for my country man Manny!

     Speaking of who is in favor of Manny, his co-star in the San Miguel commercial here in the Philippines and a 3 time opponent Erik Morales go in favor of Hatton. Morales said that he knew Pacquiao’s styles in fighting and would go for Hatton for this match. I guess this was his statement last time before the Pacman vs Dela Hoya match. We can blame Morales no more because Pacquiao defeated this Mexican fighter with no glory. For what Pacman has been shown in the world of boxing, the pro Hatton now will come to think of supporting Pacman in this fight. This is for the glory of their boxing career history. Who ever wins will be the greatest but the loser has the chance still to have a rematch. But if Pacman could do it once again just like what he did to Dela Hoya, there is no sense of having the rematch. So guys, let’s hope for the best that this could be a reality. UPDATE 1: 

       This is to inform everyone that the game between these two fighters is now final. I have watched the news that both fighters were very happy that their team have agreed to the percentage of the winning price. Although Manny Pacman Pacquiao didn’d uttered a word about the agreed percentage. He wants to emphasize that he is not afraid to any fight or match. He will do all his best to still win this one. Both parties are now arranging the schedule for the press conference of this two grea fighters.

UPDATE 2: Pacquiao dominated the two rounds of Hatton’s existence in the ring. There was once a state from Hatton that his fans from UK will not go home disappointed but I saw the fight and the results of Pacman’s dominance really is stunning and will surely disappoint the fans of Ricky Hatton. Pacquiao wins via TKO in 2nd Round.

UPDATE 3: New!  Another fight is coming between Pacquiao and Cotto this November 15, 2009 (Manila Time). This Puerto Rican Miguel Cotto will have everything if he wins agains Pacquiao. Fame, Money and the only fighter who could stop Pacquiao from his dominance in any division. But for Pacquiao, Cotto will just add to his list of kneeled opponents.GO Pacman one more time!
