Boracay Escapades

November 13, 2008

Hello Boracay! This is one of the places where I really love to stay even for a month or for a year. I have here my most recent photos taken during my last visit with the group. This is one of those moments where friendship and common interest really work. We have fun together and everybody did enjoy the trip. It was a 3 days and 2 nights stay within this very awesome island located at Malay Aklan. It is very near for a 5-hour trip from my place yet we come here very rare. We just plan to visit this place for a very special reason like this one. BONDING with my officemates, friends, and my family is the real reason why I came here. Maybe others will just come here to find something or somebody else. What ever the reasons are, boracay is simply the best island I have been. I guess others will conform. I hope so.

Our island journey in boracay begins with a snorkeling.  While on-stop to see some beautiful corals and different kinds of colorful fishes, I have noticed that there are vendors selling buko. Dodong has a lot of buko loaded in his mini boat and is enough for  around thirty persons. At first, I was so amazed with this vending style they have at boracay. In my place, this is only free as long as you know how to climb the tree. So as a result, we wanted to experience also having some sip of buko juice at the middle of our journey. The buko costed us PHP100.00 for 3. But it is worth sipping the juices of each fruit.

While on our way to poca beach, I have the chance to ask the boatman about this resort and he said that it is somehow owned by Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao. I have researched about this resort and Pacquiao ignored the ownership and stated that it is owned by his friend. The resort is awe-inspiring and very cool.  If only I could finance my stay on this resort, I want to stay here. in my nexy journey. Next year will be next year and we are hoping to visit another destination other than this one.
